Masala Oats | মশলা ওটস
It is a very healthy recipe made in microwave with very less oil. It can be taken in breakfast as well as in dinner.
Ingredients (Serves - 2)
- Rolled Oats - 1 cup
- Onion - 1/2 cup finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium finely chopped
- Carrot - 1/2 cup finely chopped
- Green Peas - 1/2 cup
- Green Chili - 2 nos. finely cut
- Coriander leaves - 2 Tbsp finely cut
- Mustard Seed - 1/2 Tsp
- Olive or vegetable Oil - 2 Tbsp
Method
- In a MW safe bowl take 1 cup of rolled oats and microwave high for 3 mins and keep aside.
- In another MW safe bowl take 2 Tbsp of olive oil and microwave high for 1 min
- Add 1/2 tsp mustard seed and microwave high for 1 min
- Add the chopped onion, mix and microwave high for 4 mins stirring in between
- Add chopped tomatoes, mix and microwave high for 2 mins
- Add the green peas and carrot, mix and microwave high for 2 mins
- Add green chili and salt to taste. Add the roasted oat and give it a good mix
- Microwave high for 2 mins
- Add 2.5 cup of water. Mix it thoroughly and microwave high for 2 mins
- Add the coriander leaves and microwave high for 1 min
- Allow standing time for 5 minutes.
- Masala oats is ready to serve.
