Super Soft Mango Malpua Recipe| আমের মালপোয়া | Dessert

Mango Malpua is for mango lovers. Malpua
is mostly made during festive season. It is the oldest known desert in the
Indian subcontinent. Mango Malpua is very super soft and tasty.
Ingredients
(Serves: 4)
Maida (Refined Flour) – 1 cup
Mango Pulp – 1 cup
Powdered Sugar – 1 cup
Suji Fine (Semolina) – ¼ Cup
Milk Powder – 3 Tbsp
Baking Powder – ¼ Tsp
Oil for frying – 3 Cups
Method:
1) Wash the mango and pat dry. Remove the skin and cut into small
pieces.
2) Puree in a blender.
3) In a mixing bowl add 1 cup of mango puree. Add 1 cup of powdered
sugar and mix thoroughly.
4) Then add ¼ cup of fine semolina (Suji) and mix.
5) Now add 3 Tbsp of milk powder with it and mix.
6) Now mix 1 cup of refined flour (Maida) with this.
7) Mix ¼ Tsp of baking powder.
8) Add ½ cup water and mix well. Keep aside for 45 minutes.
9) After 45 minutes, add water gradually to make it a pouring consistency.

10) Now heat 3 cups of oil for deep frying. Once heated reduce the heat
to low-medium.
11) Pour one ladle of the batter in the oil. Splash oil over the top of
the malpua. Turn after 2 minutes.
12) Fry till you get golden colour on both sides. Fry all the malpuas in
batches.
13) Garnish with chopped pistachios and serve.
