Rajasthani Dal Bati Recipe | রাজস্থানী ডাল বাটি রেসিপি 

Dal Bati is the signature dish of Rajasthan. Bati is a baked dish made from whole wheat flour dough. Bati is tossed in ghee and served with Dal prepared from mixed lentils. Dal Bati can be served at lunch time, as brunch or even at dinner. 

Ingredients (Serves 2)

Ingredients for Bati :

·                  1 ½  cup whole wheat flour

·                  ¼ Cup Rawa / Sooji

·                  2-3 Teaspoon of ghee / oil

·                  1/4 Teaspoon Carom seeds / Ajwain

·                  ¼ Teaspoon Baking Soda

·                  Salt to taste

·                  Water as required to knead the flour 

Ingredients for Dal:

·                  1 Tbsp Tur Dal

·                  1 Tbsp Urad Dal

·                  1 Tbsp Channa Dal

·                  1 Tbsp Masoor Dal

·                  1 Tbsp Moong Dal

·                  ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder

·                  1 Dry Red Chilli

·                  ½ Tsp Cumin Seed

·                  ¼ Tsp Asafoetida / Hing

·                  2 Tbsp Chopped Garlic

·                  1 Tbsp Chopped Ginger

·                  1 Tbsp Chopped Green chili

·                  1 medium chopped onion

·                  1 Large Tomato finely chopped

·                  ½ Tsp Red Chilli Powder

·                  ¼ Tsp Turmeric Powder

·                  ¼ Tsp Garam Masala Powder

·                  2 Tbsp Chopped coriander leaves 

For Serving: 

·                  ½ Cup Ghee
